In 2018, I embarked on an adventure through the Arizona desert, where I had the privilege of exploring not just one, but two of the state's most captivating and well-preserved mining sites. Inside this booklet are historic gems, known as Vulture City Mine and Castle Dome Mine, which provided an extraordinary glimpse into the remnants of the past. These hauntingly beautiful sites, surrounded by the rugged desert terrain, welcomed me with its eerie silence. My time spent exploring these Arizona mining sites left an indelible impression on me. It not only deepened my appreciation for the rich history of the Old West but also reminded me of the resilience and resourcefulness of those who forged their paths in this unforgiving landscape.
